       The ThinkPad (R) 350 and 350C systems are designed to provide
an entry-level, full-function, light-weight, battery or AC-operated,
portable notebook computer.  These monochrome or color notebook
computers are convenient to use and carry.  The ThinkPad 350 and 350C
systems provide the mobile worker with the capability and capacity to
support a wide range of general business applications.
       The ThinkPad 350 and 350C system uses an INTEL 486SL-25MHz
microprocessor with 8KB cache providing excellent performance and
speed required by advanced applications.
       The ThinkPad 350 monochrome display is a 9.5-inch VGA STN
backlit LCD and the ThinkPad 350C color display is a 9.2-inch STN
backlit LCD.  Dual displays are supported (simultaneous scan).  An
internal 3.5-inch floppy diskette drive and a Type II PCMCIA slot are
standard with the ThinkPad 350 and 350C systems. An optional
dedicated Data/FAX (2400 Data/9600 Send/4800 Receive FAX) modem or a
9600 Data/FAX modem is available for all models, located in a
customer-accessible slot and can be installed by the user.  Refer to
the New Options section.  Preloaded software is included on all
models.
       Personalization is a standard feature that provides a special
offer of a personalized nameplate that fits into a molded recess in
the system unit.
       The ThinkPad 350 and 350C systems are offered in four models.
The ThinkPad 350 monochrome (2618-J0A) and 350C color (2618-N0A)
systems offer a 4MB main memory upgradeable to 20MB, with hard disk
capacity of 125MB (million bytes).  The ThinkPad 350 monochrome
(2618-L0A) and 350C color (2618-P0A) models are available with 4MB of
main memory upgradeable to 20MB, with hard disk capacity of 250MB.
       Price Range:  $1,999 -- $2,999.
