       The ThinkPad (R) 755C and 755Cs systems are small,
light-weight, battery- or AC-operated portable notebook computers.
The IBM ThinkPad 755C and 755Cs computers are convenient to use and
carry, and are a general business solution for the mobile, field or
desk-oriented professional.
       The IBM ThinkPad 755C and 755Cs systems support all of the
options announced with the IBM ThinkPad 750C/750Cs.  Refer to
Hardware Announcement 193-269, dated September 2, 1993.
       The IBM ThinkPad 755C and 755Cs computers offer:
o   A 10.4-inch (diagonal) Active Matrix Thin Film Transistor (TFT)
    Display on the 755C and a 9.5-inch (diagonal) Passive Matrix Dual
    Scan Color LCD Display on the 755Cs
o   An SL Enhanced Intel486** DX2 50 MHz Microprocessor (3.3 Volt)
    (upgradeable to the 75MHz), or IntelDX4** 75MHz Microprocessor

o   4MB of memory expandable to 36MB with the new IBM ThinkPad Memory
    Module Adapter and the new 4MB and 16MB Memory Modules (DIMM)
o   A 170, 340, 540,or 810 million bytes (MB) customer-removable hard
    disk
o   A 3.5-inch 1.44MB and an optional 3.5-inch 2.88MB
    customer-removable diskette drives

available.  This solution brings the power of multimedia to a mobile
computer and offers a multimedia configuration complete with the IBM
ThinkPad Dock I, CD-ROM drive, and preloaded presentation and
communications software.
       Also available is an IBM ThinkPad 340MB Hard Disk option to
support the IBM ThinkPad 700/700C/720/720C.
