Hardware Withdrawal: IBM 3488 InfoWindow Terminal (5250-Twinax Terminal for AS/400)

Overview

Effective March 26, 2002, IBM will withdraw from marketing the following InfoWindow® Terminal (5250-Twinax Terminal for AS/400®) products. After March 26, 2002, you can no longer obtain these products directly from IBM. You can obtain these products through authorized remarketers while supplies last.

Replacement Product Information: IBM does not offer a plug-compatible replacement 5250-twinax terminal. You can use a PC workstation and install a 5250-twinax network interface adapter and 5250 emulation software.
