Hardware Withdrawal: IBM RS/6000 Enhanced Keyboards -- Replacements Available

Abstract

Effective February 6, 1998, and March 28, 1998 (for the Korean Keyboard), IBM will withdraw the RS/6000 (TM) Enhanced Keyboards from marketing. After the withdrawal date, you can no longer obtain these products directly from IBM or an IBM Authorized Distributor. You can obtain the products on an as-available basis through IBM Business Partners.

The keyboards are replaced by the RS/6000 Quiet Touch Keyboards. Refer to Hardware Announcement 197-279 197-279,:elink. dated October 6, 1997, for additional information regarding the replacement keyboards.
