The home row is the middle-most row of keys in the primary typing area of a keyboard. For a QWERTY keyboard, it is the row whose first three letters are "A", "S" and "D". The home row is considered an important one for touch typists as it is the row one's hands should rest at. To help with orientating this, the home row may have homing indicators, so one can feel where to position their index fingers.
