Select-a-Keyboard was a scheme set up by IBM in June 1991 that allowed a customer of an IBM PC model taking part in the scheme to change what the bundled keyboard at the time of purchase for no additional charge. Upon its introduction, this scheme included the option of an IBM PS/2 Enhanced Keyboard, IBM PS/2 Space Saving Keyboard or IBM PS/2 Host Connected Keyboard, but it would later be expanded to include other (and still mostly Model M family) keyboards in the following years.
