IBM-made 17-key numeric keypad option for the IBM 8543 PS/2 L40SX portable computer. It was the first discrete (not integrated into a larger system) device to use IBM buckling sleeve key-switches. It had a modular 8P8C to PS/2-like plug cable with a special pinout, a passthrough port for a PS/2 mouse and a hinged but removable cover.
